IME Pay And Khalti Merger Complete: Integrated Transactions To Begin From 1st Shrawan. The merger process between Nepal’s two largest digital payment service providers, IME Digital Solutions Limited (IME Pay) and Khalti Private Limited (Khalti), has been completed. The new company ‘IME Khalti Limited‘, formed after the merger, is set to start integrated transactions from Thursday, Shrawan 1st.
The two companies have set the date for the integrated transactions after receiving final approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the Office of the Registrar of Companies. Nepal Rastra Bank had given final approval to the merger on Ashar 4, and the Office of the Registrar of Companies on Ashar 12.
According to a joint announcement by both companies on Monday, the merger process has been finalised, with all assets and liabilities of Khalti Private Limited being assumed by IME Digital Solutions Limited.
After the merger, the company’s central office will be located in Panipokhari, Ward No. 3, Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
