As the monsoon continues to be active across the country, there is a possibility of moderate to very heavy rainfall in various hilly areas of the country today. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, as the monsoon low-pressure area is near western Nepal, light to moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning will occur in most places in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Similarly, the division has urged people to be alert as there is a possibility of heavy rainfall in some places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces tonight.
