As the monsoon continues to be active across the country, there is a possibility of moderate to very heavy rainfall in various hilly areas of the country today. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, as the monsoon low-pressure area is near western Nepal, light to moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning will occur in most places in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.
