‘Shefali Jariwala’, Known For The Song ‘Kaata Laga’, Passes Away. Shefali Jariwala, who rose to fame with the song ‘Kaanta Laga’ and is the famous actress and model of the popular Indian TV reality show ‘Bigg Boss 13’, has passed away.
According to Indian media, she died of a heart attack on Friday night at the age of 42. After her health deteriorated, her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, took Shefali to the hospital, where she was declared dead.
Her body was taken to Cooper Hospital for a postmortem at around 12:30 am. Meanwhile, Mumbai Police reached Shefali’s Andheri house late at night for investigation.
A forensic team was also present at the spot. A search was conducted inside the house for suspicious items. Although no official statement has been issued yet regarding the circumstances of her death, the presence of the police and forensic team indicates that the case is being treated as suspicious.
The actress was last seen on screen in the 2024 TV show ‘Shaitaani Rashme‘.
She rose to fame with the music video for the song ‘Kaanta Laga’, which was released in 2002. She then appeared in Salman Khan’s film ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’ and acted in the 2019 web series ‘Baby Come Na’. She has also participated in popular dance reality shows like ‘Boogie Woogie’ and ‘Nach Baliye’.
Shefali has been married twice. Her first marriage was to Harmeet Singh, a musician of Meet Brothers, in 2004, but they divorced in 2009. Shefali then married actor Parag Tyagi in 2015.
