How To Use Google Maps To Reach Your Destination On Time Everyone wants to reach a destination on time. But sometimes, it can be late to reach the destination. Problems like heavy traffic jams and road repairs can cause delays.
But there are ways to get rid of such problems and reach the destination on time. One way is Google Maps. With this app, you can find out about traffic jams. Similarly, you can get more clear information about the road by viewing the place you need to go on a 3D map.
To make your trip even more efficient, you can track the time you need to reach your destination using Google Maps. It calculates the time you should leave for your destination. This will help you relax rather than rush during your trip. Use Google Maps to avoid being late during your trip:
1. First, choose your destination
First, enter your departure point and destination. Then click on the directions option.
2. Select Menu
On Google Maps, you will see three dots to the right of “Your location.” Click here and select “Set departure or arrival time.”
3. Set the arrival time
Now click on ‘Arrive’. There, set the time you want to reach your destination. Then click on ‘Done’.
4. See the time it takes to get to your destination
Google calculates the route you can take based on the time it takes to get to your destination. It also calculates how long it will take based on how much traffic is on the road at that time and the state of road repairs. It then shows you the best time to leave.
5. Set a reminder
If you are leaving for your destination right away, you can start your journey by clicking on Start. If you are travelling for a while, you can set a reminder. For this, go to the menu with three dots again. Put the departure time there. By doing this, Google Maps will remind you to leave for your journey at the time you need to leave. So that you can reach your destination on time.
