According to the Korean media outlet The Alec, the necessary technology has not been ready due to technical discussions with Samsung Display and LG Display. Apple is trying to give the screen a design that rotates slightly from all sides so that there is no problem with the phone’s display.
The current phones have a black area around the screen, which Apple wants to remove and spread the screen across the entire phone. Similarly, many small parts inside the phone need to be managed. The camera should also be hidden inside the screen. The design for the under-display camera system needs to be changed. Since there is still a lot of work to be done to make all of this a success, it seems that it will take a few years for a bezel-less iPhone to come to the market.
If Apple succeeds in these things soon, it can be expected that the iPhone 18 or iPhone 19 will be the first bezel-less model to come to the market.
