Foreign Tourist Arrivals Increasing In Pathibhara The arrival of foreign tourists to the famous Shaktipeeth Pathibhara in Taplejung has been increasing recently. The Pathibhara Area Development Committee has stated that the arrival of foreign tourists to enjoy the natural beauty of the area along with the darshan of Pathibhara has increased significantly.
Prajin Hangbang, executive director of the Area Development Committee, informed that recently, tourists from countries including the US, Japan, Thailand, and the Netherlands have started coming to Pathibhara, which used to be visited by devotees from outside Nepal, especially neighbouring India.
Ravi Lama, a guide from JRN Trek and Expeditions, who brought Dutch tourists to Pathibhara on Tuesday, said that this was the third time he had brought foreigners to Pathibhara. The tourists who came with him commented that they liked Nepal’s religion and nature.
The Pathibhara Area Development Committee says that the number of foreign tourists has increased with the promotion of Pathibhara, which is full of religious faith and natural beauty. The committee is confident that the number of foreign tourists will increase day by day if tourism infrastructure is expanded and tourism is promoted.
Every year, millions of devotees, both domestic and foreign, visit Pathibhara with the belief that their wishes will be fulfilled. A tourist assistance police cell was established at Kaflepati, which is located on the Pathibhara trekking route, a few months ago for the peace, security and convenience of domestic and foreign tourists visiting Pathibhara.
The committee has said that the work of upgrading and constructing the Pathibhara trekking route, toilets, drinking water and other physical infrastructures for the convenience of devotees visiting Pathibhara will be done. Initiatives are also being taken to construct a telephone tower with internet for easy communication facilities in the temple area and to install solar lights on the trekking route.
