What Is The Plan Of Which Company To Repair The Electric Vehicle In The Flood Electric vehicles have also been affected by the incessant rain and subsequent floods that hit most parts of the country last Friday and Saturday? In Hattivan, Nakhkhu, Kuleshwar and other areas, houses and parking lots were flooded and vehicles got stuck there for a long time, causing various problems.
Generally, modern electric vehicles are ‘waterproof’, due to which normal rain does not affect the electric vehicle much. However, there is a fear that if the vehicle’s battery is immersed in water for a long time, water will enter the vehicle and cause rust and the performance of the vehicle will be negatively affected.
Similarly, if water seeps through the battery housing, i.e. the layer made to protect the battery, there is a possibility of a short circuit and fire. Experts say that there are problems in the vehicle’s safety mechanism, thermal mechanism and onboard charging system, which can lead to risks and slow charging.
According to the EV distributors, due to the floods in Nepal, there have been common problems with electric vehicles. Serious problems including short circuits have not been reported. They have started coming up with various schemes to solve the complaints reported by the customers.
