Elon Musk’s Spacecraft Has Arrived To Pick Up Passengers Stuck In Space SpaceX’s spacecraft, which flew to bring Sunita Williams and Berry Wilmer stuck in space for three months, has reached the International Space Station (ISS). SpaceX’s ‘Dragon’ spacecraft capsule has reached the ISS, NASA has informed through its social network.
This spacecraft, which is part of the Crew-9 mission, was launched from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida last Saturday. Two NASA astronauts, Nick Hague and Alexander Gorbunov, have gone to the ISS from this spacecraft.
Two seats were left empty for the rescue of Sunita and Berry in the Dragon spacecraft, which can accommodate four astronauts. But Sunita and Berry will not return immediately. According to NASA, it will take another five months for them to return to Earth.
During that time, they are said to have conducted more than 200 scientific investigations, such as blood clotting on the ISS, the effects of humidity on plants grown in space, and vision changes in astronauts. Only then will Sunita and Berry return to Earth along with Haig and Gorbunov next February.
Sunita and her colleague Berry have been stuck in space since last June. They got stuck there during the launch of Boeing’s manned Starliner spacecraft.
