International Roaming Service Will Now Automatically Be Available On Prepaid Numbers Of Nepal Telecom is going to automatically provide international roaming service on prepaid mobile numbers. Earlier, the prepaid customers had to activate the international roaming service, the company said, that starting from today, this service will be automatically provided to all prepaid customers’ mobile numbers.
The customer can dial *1415*7# and select the appropriate option from the available menu to confirm whether or not the roaming service is available on their mobile.
Under this, Telecom has planned to gradually provide this facility in other countries besides India. To use this service in India, you can activate the roaming service by dialing *1415*7# while staying in Nepal or through the Nepal Telecom app.
Customers who have activated the international roaming service will be able to use voice, data, and SMS services abroad using Nepal Telecom’s SIM.
If the customer goes abroad without activating the roaming service while staying in Nepal, the customer can request to activate this service from abroad by sending an email to roaming.support@ntc.net.np.
Currently, the roaming facility is available in 40 countries through the prepaid mobile of Nepal Telecom. According to the company, the customer can use voice, data, and SMS services based on the agreement with 54 operators in those countries.
