Now You Can Send RCS Messages From iPhone To Android Phone Rich Communication Services (RCS) is considered to be the most modern version of SMS. It can be used to send high-quality photos and videos, view typing indicators, and send group messages.
Until now, this feature was limited to Android only. RCS messaging can be enabled on iPhones through iOS 18, which will be released soon. Because of this, iOS and Android users can communicate easily through RCS.
However, for this, RCS messaging must be enabled on the iPhone. We are discussing how to enable this feature, which is currently available in the beta version:
Go to the iPhone’s Settings app.
Scroll down a bit. And tap on Apps.
Choose a message from the various options that appear there.
Now scroll down a bit. and select Text Messaging. And tap on RCS Messaging inside it.
Now enable RCS messaging by tapping on the toggle. In this way, you can also disable RCS messages.
How do you know if you are using RCS?
There are a few common ways to know you are using RCS, such as:
-Before sending a message through iMessage, you see the ‘RCS’ option at the top of the message box or in the message typing box.
Also, you can get messages that are slightly different from the usual messages you get before. Like: previously only congratulations came, but now you can find animation. Which was not available in iOS 17 or older versions.
