Want To Prevent Your Ex-Post From Training AI X, the social network owned by Elon Musk, uses users’ public posts to train AI tools. Now it seems that the company will make it optional.
This was posted on X’s safety account on Friday. Where it is mentioned that the user will find an option in the settings for this. This option, which is now available in the web version, is said to be available in the mobile app soon.
Now X has its own AI tool Grok. Which is only available for premium users. Public posts were now being used to train the tool’s AI model. According to X, user posts and interactions are used to train and improve Grok.
Now X will make the same thing optional. However, X has not revealed when this option will be available publicly in the mobile app. According to X, to prevent your post from being used for training an AI model, do the following:
-Go to ‘Settings and Privacy’ by clicking on ‘More’ on the left side
-Go to ‘Privacy and Safety’
– While scrolling down a bit, ‘Grok’ appears. When you click on it, the option of ‘Data Sharing’ appears. Remove the ‘tick mark’ on it
Similarly, premium users can also delete conversations made on Grok.
