Tourists In Chitwan National Park Increased Tourist arrivals have increased in Chitwan National Park. In the fiscal year 2080/81, 36,837 tourists visited the park. In the previous fiscal year 2079/80, only 299,412 tourists visited the park.
According to Ganesh Prasad Tiwari, information officer of the park, in the last fiscal year, 7,425 more tourists entered the park than in the previous fiscal year. In the last fiscal year, 176 thousand 316 domestic tourists visited the park. In the year 2079/80, two lakh five thousand six hundred five domestic tourists came to visit here.
In the last fiscal year, 36,471 tourists from SAARC countries, and 37,935 tourists in 2079/80. 94 thousand 50 foreign tourists from other countries visited the park in the last financial year, while 55 thousand 872 people visited the park in 2079/80. Information officer Tiwari informed that 190 thousand 458 tourists entered the park in the year 2078/79.
Similarly, in the year 2077/78, when 98 thousand nine hundred 28 tourists entered, 35 million 83 thousand 376 revenue was collected. In the year 2076/77, 19 crore 92 lakh 55 thousand revenue was collected. With the establishment of the park, tourist statistics have been started since the year 2031/32.
There are statistics that only 836 tourists visited the park in that year. One lakh 40 thousand revenue was collected in that year. In the year 2032/33, 2,206 tourists visited the park, and 2,100,000 revenues were recorded.
