Google Play Store Now Has A Separate Badge For Government Apps Google is going to use a new badge for government apps. Google has started using this badge to make it easier to recognize government apps in the Google Play Store.
Google announced this feature last November 2023. After testing since then, the company officially launched this feature on May 2, i.e. Thursday.
According to the Android Authority, more than 3,000 government apps in 12 countries have received this badge so far. These include India, America, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, UK, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Indonesia and Mexico.
It is not clear how long Nepal’s government app will get such interest. It is said that to get this type of badge, you have to use the official email when creating the app.
