Harmony OS, which was already announced to be available in the world market, could not come due to various reasons. Currently, Harmony OS is only available in the Chinese market. Now the company says that it will expand globally by making some modifications to the system.
This operating system, released in 2019, is said to compete with Google’s Android and Apple’s iOS. However, the US banned Huawei’s production in the same year, citing national security reasons. Which still remains. Due to this, Harmony OS may be the third option for users from other countries.
Huawei is working closely with app developers and providing various necessary support. As a result, the company has moved more than 4,000 Android apps to run on this operating system. Similarly, Huawei has also said it is talking to the developers of 1,000 apps.
In this way, Huawei will be able to enter the global market after at least five thousand apps run on Harmony OS. Huawei has not given any further information on this matter.
