Earlier, the Android version of WhatsApp had a toolbar section at the top. It included Communities, Chat, Status, and Call tabs. Now the company has moved the navigation toolbar to the bottom. In a post on social network X on Friday, the company has informed about the changes made to the navigation bar.
“Friends, we have made some changes so that you can easily access all the features of WhatsApp whenever you want,” WhatsApp said in the post. According to the company, the new navigation tool fits close to the thumb and is easy on the eyes. In the new navigation bar, the company has kept both the icon and the name of the tab. Earlier, the name of the navigation tool was written as chat, update, and call. Now you can see the icon with the name of the tab.
The company said that this feature, which was previously available to some limited users, is now available to all Android users. In the iOS version, the company has been keeping the navigation bar at the bottom since the beginning. In the Android version of Facebook, the navigation tool is placed at the top, while in the iOS version, it is placed at the bottom.
