Nepal Telecom’s free Wi-Fi service at 34 airports

Nepal Telecom’s free Wi-Fi service at 34 airports Nepal Telecom is going to provide free Wi-Fi internet service at 34 airports operating in Nepal. An agreement was reached between Nepal Telecom and the Nepal Civil Aviation Authority on Friday.
 
The agreement was signed by Chief Commercial Officer Vinita Shrestha on behalf of Nepal Telecom and Deputy Director General Jagannath Niraula on behalf of the Nepal Civil Aviation Authority.
 
According to the letter of agreement, Nepal Telecom will install a free Wi-Fi network in the arrival and departure halls of Tribhuvan Airport’s international and domestic terminals and will operate free Wi-Fi internet service in other airports operated in Nepal in a phased manner.
 
Similarly, an information and assistance room will be established inside the airport to provide information about the company’s services at suitable locations for the convenience of passengers. The Civil Aviation Authority will take care of providing a suitable place to connect the devices for the operation and management of the free Wi-Fi network service and other management tasks.
 
Similarly, the authority will also provide a place to keep mobile charging stations for the convenience of passengers. Earlier, it was agreed to operate a free Wi-Fi service at the Tribhuvan International Airport Customs Office; now the service will be available at all locations of the airport. The company expects passengers to benefit from this.
