SpaceX launched the first satellite for mobile services giving voice and data the following year Elon Musk’s SpaceX has launched six satellites for the first time for mobile services. The company sent a direct-to-cell satellite into Earth’s orbit at the beginning of this week to be used in the network of T-Mobile and other service providers.
Starlink direct-to-cell satellite technology works like a mobile tower in space, according to SpaceX. This will solve the problem of phones not working in the areas that cannot be reached by the towers on the ground level.
According to the company, the direct-to-sale satellite was launched on Tuesday by a Falcon Nine rocket along with 15 other Starlink satellites. T-Mobile has said that field testing will be done soon.
“With this remarkable and important collaboration with SpaceX, we will work with our partners around the world to make the ‘dead zone’ a thing of the past,” said Mike Katz, T-Mobile’s president of marketing, strategy, and product.
T-Mobile, which is a multinational telecommunications company, signed an agreement with Space X as the first direct-to-sale partner last August. Six other companies are also planning to use this technology, according to SpaceX.
“This technology will provide mobile phone connectivity to any location on Earth,” Musk wrote on his social media platform X. SpaceX will also bring voice, data, and other services direct-to-sale next year.
This is also a very good thing. But in the coming days, it will give a good message to everyone. This is also true for us, but this service is useful for everyone.
