The smart way to make Chrome browser fast is that it is the most popular internet browser available today. Because of its simple user interface and its capabilities, many consider Chrome to be a memory hog. However, a feature called ‘hardware acceleration’ (hardware acceleration) can make Chrome fast.
But if you turn on the ‘hardware acceleration’ feature, the browser uses the device’s graphics to load the web page. It improves the browser’s performance.
What is the hardware acceleration feature?
In simple terms, hardware acceleration is a process that helps applications perform certain computing tasks on certain hardware components within the system.
In doing so, the application is not only dependent on the CPU but also on other components.
This feature requires the following procedure:
Open the Chrome browser. Click on the three dots at the top right.
Click on Settings and select the System tab.
On the new page that opens, there are some more options. Among them, click on ‘Use hardware acceleration when available’. Then relaunch Chrome.
Or you can check if this feature is on in the browser by typing chrome://gpu/ in the search bar. If the browser has the feature turned on, you can see ‘Hardware Acceleration’ in green in the ‘Graphic Feature Status’ section. But after turning on this feature, if you see a glitch in the browser, it is better to turn off this feature again.
Google’s Chrome might be changing. I watched this feature to get to know it well. A lot of users will not be getting new features in the Google Chrome browser.
I think the browser makes it a little bit faster. The previous one, which people can see on PCs and laptops, is to check it out there. I hope the team engineer will make an improvement or try to make an update on it.
