Do you have to login to two accounts on WhatsApp at the same time? Meta has also provided a feature to switch between two accounts on WhatsApp. This feature, which was announced by the company’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, last October, is now available to most Android users.
It is said that through this, users can now login to two or more accounts in the same WhatsApp app. The company believes that this feature will be available for users who use separate apps for two or more accounts or frequently log in and out of the same account.
This is how to login to two accounts on the WhatsApp app
-First of all, open the WhatsApp app on Android.
-Then tap on the three dots on the top right.
-And go to the Settings option at the bottom.
-After doing this, a ‘Dropdown’ icon will appear after the QR code option that appears along with your profile picture and name. Tap on the same icon.
-Then tap on the option of ‘Add an Account’.
-And tap on the option of ‘Agree and Continue’.
-After doing this, there will be a box to put your phone number in. Put the mobile number you want to log in to there.
-And tap the ‘Next’ button shown below.
It informs you that only your message and media file will be visible in that app, but the previous catalog greetings will be removed. If you have a normal account, the options ‘Edit’ and ‘S’ will appear. Then tap on the option of ‘Switch’ if it is a business account and ‘S’ if it is a general account.
-After that, tap on the ‘Continue’ button. To verify that the number is yours, log in by choosing one of the OTP codes or phone options.
If you have a backup Google account in your WhatsApp account, then all the messages stored in the backup will be visible. If not, all messages will be deleted.
Although the company says that multiple accounts can be switched, now it seems that only two accounts are available for logging in.
This feature was used in the PC and mobile versions as well. However, WhatsApp will be made to run on PCs as well. WhatsApp will also run on PC.
