If you are OK with the limited features offered by the Blogger platform, then this is a great choice. For making money or creating a long term impact, WordPress platform is better.

WordPress is good for blogging from my side which people want to share with their own style of feature happen to see it there. In Word Press you can set that up yourself. And they do install software, but at Blogger we do not look like we can do those posts ourselves and we have to open and share their posts.
