For The First Time In Saudi, The Nepali Film ‘Chakkapanja 5’ On Kartik 1 The Nepali film market is expanding in the Middle East. Nepali film is going to be released for the first time in Saudi Arabia, the main destination market of Nepali workers.
The distribution company Nep-Films, which has been regularly screening Nepali films in the Middle East, is going to release ‘Chakkapanja 5‘ in Saudi Arabia on 17 October.
The release in Saudi has been finalized. Nepali films are creating performance history’ Ramesh Dhakal, head of Nep-Films, told Online Khabar from Dubai, “We are preparing for the release of the national film in the halls of Saudi Arabia.”
Apart from Saudi Arabia, ‘Chakkapanja 5’ is being screened in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman. After a week of its release in Nepal, the audience in the Middle East will be able to watch this film.
In April 2018, the Saudi government lifted the ban on the screening of foreign films. The Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman gave permission for the film to be screened after 35 years, pushing ahead with the plan of liberal economic policy.
Immediately after Saudi’s announcement, the Hollywood superhero movie Marvel Studios’ Black Panther was released. The Saudi government is preparing to make 2,500 screens in 350 halls by the year 2030.
Dhakal, who has been releasing Nepali films in the Gulf, is also screening ‘Chakkapanja 5’ in Malaysia and Maldives. The film has already been completed on October 1 in Malé and Halhumel islands in the Maldives.
Deepakraj Giri, Kedar Ghimire, and Varsha Sivakoti starrer ‘Chhakkapanja’ 5th series is also releasing in the USA on the date of Nepal, where Patrick Subedi is releasing it.
