One-handed mode
In some cases, you may have to type with one hand on the smartphone. In this case, the one-handed mode on the keyboard can be useful. The purpose of this mode is to make the keyboard smaller and easier to type with one hand.
For this, click on the comma (,) on the keyboard for a while and choose one-handed mode from the options. In that order, you have to swipe right. After doing this, the size of the keyboard itself becomes smaller. If you need to expand the size, you can click on the expand button on the right side of the screen.
Create your own emoji
Didn’t find the appropriate emoji for your message? If so, Gboard’s Emoji Kitchen feature can be helpful. The function of this feature is to create a new emoji based on two emojis. This feature is turned on by default.
If you don’t see this feature in your Gboard app, you need to go into ‘Emojis, Stickers & GIFs’ and turn on the ‘Emoji Stickers’ option. After doing this, when you select two emojis, a new emoji will appear immediately. You can send a new emoji by clicking on it. But it may not work for all emojis.
Spacebar as cursor
In some cases, a message is written on the Lamala. But somewhere in the middle, the business is broken. In that case, it is a bit difficult to reach the exact damaged place. To solve this problem, you can use the space bar as a cursor on the keyboard. For this, press the spacebar for a while and move your finger to the right or left. By doing this, the cursor will also start moving. Although this feature is not necessary during short messages, it can be useful in long messages.
Floating keyboard
Typing on a smartphone by sliding the screen into two parts is very difficult. The floating keyboard feature solves this problem. The function of this feature is to move the location of the keyboard from one place to another. Usually, there is a keyboard at the bottom of the screen.
Translate as you type
One language can be translated into another language while typing on the keyboard. By doing this you can type in any language and translate it to other languages including English. Translating into languages other than English may not produce completely accurate results, but it may still work.
For this, by clicking the button with four small spaces on the upper left side of the keyboard, the option called ‘Translate’ will come up. There you have to choose the option from which language to translate. After doing this, as soon as you type in the box that says ‘Type here to translate’, the language will also be translated. But for this, the Internet is necessary.
