After the regulatory body, the Nepal Telecommunication Authority, instructed them to have a toll-free number, so far 86 service providers have used this number.
In order to implement the conditions of the license and resolve the complaints of the customers, the authority had instructed the service providers to keep a toll-free number. The service provider has to provide the fee details free of charge as per the terms of the permit.
Also, customer complaints should be resolved within the specified time. However, the director authority had given that the service providers should have a toll-free number as a matter of concern when the companies do not make good arrangements regarding internet complaints. Its purpose is that the customer can express his complaint to the service provider at any time.
