The hacker brought down ChatGPT because OpenAI was negative about Palestine. A hacker group has claimed to have brought down ChatGPT. A hacker group named ‘Anonymous Sudan’ mentioned that they were involved when ChatGPT was down on December 8 and 13. On December 8 and 13, ChatGPT was down for 90 and 40 minutes, respectively.
According to OpenAI, there were various other problems on the website in the meantime. The company has not revealed the actual reason behind the ChatGPT down yet.
In a post on the Telegram channel, the hacker group said, “We will continue to attack Genocide supporter Tal Broda until he is fired and ChatGPT stops giving inhuman comments.”
However, he has not given any opinion on the matter till now. The group that created OpenAI Down also noted that Broda went beyond his personal opinion.
Anonymous Sudan noted that OpenAI and ChatGPT were targeted because of CEO Sam Altman’s ties to Israel and the company’s cooperation with Israel’s professional status.
The group also claims that ChatGPT is against Palestine and in favor of Israel. Business Insider has mentioned that the group used a Denial of Service (DDoS) attack to bring down ChatGPT. This causes excessive traffic to the site, and the site is down.
I felt it out a few days ago when the site wasn’t getting running over. But sites don’t need to be opened properly to be opened there. But, once they figure it out, those hackers will launch attacks on openAI sites.
Following the hacking of the ChatGPT site, the owner of development is attempting to repair it. Even a lot of users will make traffic down to see there.
