How to download all photos/videos from Google Photos Cloud storage has completely changed the way we store data. In the past, any data had to be backed up and transferred to devices. Now that work has become easier due to cloud storage. But while backup or storage is easy, moving data between devices from cloud storage is a bit more complicated.
A Reddit user has recently shared his experience of what kind of problem this can cause. “When I tried to transfer photos/videos from my late wife’s Pixel phone to my computer, only about six months were transferred. But the photo app has photos from five years ago,” he wrote on Reddit. The reason for this problem is that the remaining photos/videos are not stored on the phone but in the cloud.
It does not mean that you will not experience the same problem as her. But there are some ways to transfer all the photos/videos on the phone to the computer at once. Like; Use the cloud storage app on the phone on the computer or move the media manually with the help of USB.
If you want to share only some photos/videos and not all, then you need to download them to your computer.
To download photos/videos, click on the three dots button at the top right. Select ‘Download‘ from the menu. In this way, you can download media i.e. files in the cloud at once.
